Driivz, a global software supplier to electric vehicle charging operators, is showcasing a new Network Optimisation Agent this week. It is designed to help operators convert growing volumes of charging, energy and customer data into faster decisions.

The announcement lands as the industry works toward a more open and interoperable charging ecosystem. Driivz argues interoperability alone is no longer enough for operators competing on network performance and profitability.

Chief executive Shiri Levi-Laor is presenting the platform this week at an industry conference. She framed the challenge facing operators as translating an unprecedented volume of network data into scalable, profitable outcomes, rather than simply achieving cross-platform compatibility.

The company, a Vontier subsidiary, has built its AI capabilities on operational scale gained from migrating tens of thousands of charging points onto its platform. That footprint spans national networks, fleets, utilities and retail charging environments across multiple regions.

For operators managing multi-site portfolios, particularly those layering AI-driven energy management on top of onsite renewable generation and battery storage, the optimisation layer marks a shift. Reactive monitoring gives way to predictive, automated decision-making.

Charging networks increasingly treat data depth and algorithmic maturity, not just hardware performance, as a competitive differentiator. Pricing, demand response and load balancing are becoming standard expectations from site hosts and utilities alike, raising the bar for what counts as table stakes.
